Sub-harmonic Mixers – VTSHM Series

Sub-harmonic mixers are a sub-set of harmonic mixers where the harmonic number is usually n=2. They offer the advantage of lower frequency local oscillators (LO = RF/2) and are particularly effective for RF ranges above 100 GHz. Conversion losses can be comparable with fundamental balanced mixers.

General Features

  • Frequency coverage: Up to 440 GHz
  • Very low conversion loss and noise
  • Zero bias operation
  • Balanced design
  • Wide IF bandwidths
  • LO at ½ RF
  • Integrated IF versions available
